Looking in from the lane through the nursery's open gate at child height: small wellies on the brick step and a cardigan on a peg visible through the open back door
The gate from the lane. This is what you'll see when you arrive.

Come and look around

You're welcome to see inside before you decide.

Nearly every family who comes to us asks the same thing first: can I have a look? Yes. I'd rather show you round while the children are here, so you see an ordinary day, mud included, and so you meet me rather than a brochure.

Tell me a little about you and your child below and I'll come back to you with a time. Visits fit round meals and sleeps, so if a particular morning or afternoon suits you, say so in the note.

Ask for a look round

Four short things, and a note if you'd like.

This comes straight to me, and I'll reply myself.

How we handle what you send us

Finding us

Just off South Street, in the old workshop.

South Street runs through the middle of Bridport, and we're a few steps off it in a converted workshop. If you're in town, you're nearly here already.

The map shows South Street. I'll give you the exact turning when we fix a time for your visit.

On foot

Head for South Street. We're just off it, so from anywhere in the middle of Bridport it's a short walk with a pushchair.

By car

When we fix a time I'll tell you where's best to leave the car and which way to come in. It's easier said than written down.

When you arrive

Come to the gate on the lane. I'll be expecting you, and if you're early you're welcome to wait by the step with the wellies. Ask for a look round first, though, so the gate isn't a surprise to either of us.

Get in touch

Ask me anything, and I'll answer it straight.

The form on this page comes directly to me. I'm in the baby room three days a week, so I'll write back once I'm out of it rather than in the middle of a feed, but it will be me writing, not an office.

If you've already read the fees and how the funded hours work, you'll probably only have one question left, and it's usually the one below.

If it's about September

Choose "a space in September 2027" in the form and tell me your child's age. I'll reply with a straight yes for the right room, or a straight no and a place on the list.
